Internet options for WPH

This is a pretty dynamic technology that changes regularly so consider this as a work in progress. Please check back for updates from time to time.

Because of the terrain in the Highlands, not all services are available to every lot/house.

To the best of our knowledge, Comcast does not provide cable service in the Highlands so here are a few options, one of which should work out:

(Clicking on the company name will send you to their website)

Starlink: High-speed internet. Available almost anywhere on earth.

CenturyLink DSL: Input your county road address into CenturyLink’s website to see if you can get DSL. Some of the houses on the lower part of the Highlands are close enough to CL’s equipment to get it. CL is laying fiber in parts of the Highlands but you need to contact them directly to see if you can get their service.

Grand County Internet: Contact them with your address and they should be able to tell you if they can provide service. They provide a wireless service that many people in the Highlands use.

Slopeside Internet: Similar to Grand County Internet. They also use a wireless system.

Hughes Internet: They provide a satellite based internet connection. Some owners in the Highlands use Hughes.

Verizon: Verizon sells Mobile Hot Spot services that work like a mobile phone and they charge for data usage like your mobile phone.
